Bluetooth/Wi-Fi Coexistence Modelling Study looks at developing and integrating models of the Bluetooth WPAN and Wi-Fi WLAN protocols. Resulting models will include protocol logic derived from third parties as well as a custom, high-precision PHY model implemented in the OPNET Radio Transceiver Pipeline. Resulting model suite will be used to validate earlier studies based on lower fidelity models. Bluetooth models will be extended to include dynamic collision mitigation techniques including adaptive frequency hopping, adaptive power management, and adaptive forward error control (FEC).
