Honeywell licenses Bluetooth protocol stack technology from IAR Systems
IAR Systems today announced that Honeywell Federal Manufacturing &
Technologies, part of diversified technology and manufacturing leader Honeywell
International Inc., has placed an order for the Bluetooth Protocol stack
technology. This order is a strategic breakthrough in the U.S. market, and
underlines the value of the highly compact code size in the Bluetooth protocol
stack from IAR.
“This order is strategically important to our company,” says Lars-Erik
Stenkil, Business Development Manager at IAR Systems. “The fact that a major
industrial company selected our Bluetooth protocol stack software strengthens
our position as a leading supplier of Bluetooth products. It is certainly an
important breakthrough in the U.S. market.”
The embedded Bluetooth protocol stack from IAR Systems is one of the most
compact in the world, therefore reducing manufacturing cost in serial
production, due to reduced consumption of CPU and ROM memory resources. And with
a superior tool for configuration and optimization of the Bluetooth protocol
stack, IAR can help companies add Bluetooth capabilities to their products
faster and easier.
