Agilent Enhances Bluetooth Test
Set
Agilent introduced
the Agilent E1852B Bluetooth Test Set
for use in the development and manufacture of Bluetooth(TM)
devices in the wireless networking industry. The upgraded test set
addresses the broader needs of wireless designers and manufacturers who are
rapidly adopting Bluetooth technology as
the standard for seamless
interconnectivity among electronic
products.
Like its predecessor, the E1852B is a
dedicated Bluetooth test set capable of establishing a link using the
standard Bluetooth protocol and
measuring key Bluetooth RF parameters in accordance
with the Bluetooth specification. In a manufacturing environment, the E1852B
quickly performs functional test and simultaneously measures key Bluetooth
RF parameters, assuring reliable operation with other Bluetooth
devices. Additional features make the
E1852B an invaluable development tool for
characterizing elements of the transceiver design or for calibrating
modules. The E1852B has enhanced connectivity, new measurement
capabilities and improved
specifications.
Plug-and-play drivers are provided to
aid test development in a familiar programming environment. Both GPIB
and parallel ports are supported in the E1852B to ensure smooth integration
into automated test systems.
